Cornucopia Dance Academy offers specialized training in Kathak and contemporary dance for students of all ages and levels. Led by experienced faculty under the direction of Sri Janardhan Raj Urs, our curriculum blends authentic classical technique with opportunities for creative exploration and performance.
Kathak
Kathak is one of India's great classical dance forms — a language of intricate footwork (tatkar), expressive hand gestures (mudras), and spinning pirouettes (chakkar). Rooted in the storytelling traditions of North India, Kathak at Cornucopia is taught with fidelity to its classical form.
Our Kathak curriculum provides comprehensive training ensuring personalized attention at every level — from foundational compositions for beginners to recital-stage performances for advanced students.

Contemporary Dance
Our contemporary dance programme draws from modern, lyrical, and movement-theatre techniques — developing body awareness, spatial sensitivity, and personal expressive vocabulary. Students are encouraged to explore and develop their unique styles.
